Got pretty much everything I promised, and the some...maybe a bit TOO much. Though it definitely does justice to the recent trend of grindhouse throwbacks, there is oddly enough a limit of how much over-the-top antics I can stomach.
This movie tipped that scale a few times, albeit briefly and lightly. Either way, I enjoyed the style, music, and central performance by Hauer. It's a good, dumb time that will satisfy its target audience.
