Review of Hitman: Agent 47 (2015) by Ricky G — 28 Aug 2015
I was looking forward to Agent 47 since I heard it was in production, I am a fan of the video game and I have been dying to see if we could finally get a great video game movie but you know what just secures your movie is going to be bad? Having Skip Woods write you script my goodness the dialogue in this movie was horrible, everything was so cheesy and so outrageous that I couldn't control my laughing in some areas.
Another horrible thing about this movie is that there is no stealth in this movie Hitman is supposed to be about different ways to sneak around places to get what you need to get but instead they decide to make it a huge "action thriller" instead of something that the movie is supposed to be.
Zachary Quinto absolutely didn't want to be here, his acting was so bad you could tell he was just trying to get a check. The CGI was terrible too, everything looked straight outta a Sci-Fi movie and it just takes you out of the movie because it looks so fake.
Now I'm going to say the two things I liked, Rupert Friend is a very good Agent 47 he nailed the character and it's such a shame because he put such a great effort into such a bad movie. There were some action scenes that were really fun to watch especially the car chase scene but besides Friend and some action scenes the movie is a mess it has a bad story the girl they're trying to save is almost a superhero because she can tell when things are gonna happen and tell the past and its just weird that's not what the Hitman games were about, Quinto in a robot man who can't die, the story sucks, dialogue sucks, and it's just a boring movie.
Though it is better than the first attempt, it still sucks.
