We determine who we are by what we do.

The man responsible for creating an elite group of assassins made up of agents given numbers for names that have no emotion, has vanished. The assassins execute their plans flawlessly but now have no missions left after the department is shut down. One of the agents tries to track down the missing department leader. Meanwhile, an executive who wants the department head to build super soldiers is also after him. Who will find him first and what has he been up to?

Aleksander Bach delivers Hitman: Agent 47 in his directorial debut. The storyline for this picture is very mediocre but was worth following. The action was a bit corny, the acting was very average, but there were a couple cool sequences. The cast delivers okay performances and includes Rupert Friend, Angelababy, Dan Bakkedahl, and Michaela Caspar.

I remember liking the previews for this when it was in theatres. I wanted to see it and recently grabbed it from Red Box. This was disappointing and a below average addition to the genre. Overall, this is only worth watching for diehard action genre junkies.

Grade: C-.
