Review of Hitman (2007) by James W — 31 Oct 2013
Hitman features fiery action sequences and cool action shots, the best one being a shot of Timothy Olyphant diving out a hotel window attached to a thin piece of rope as the room explodes, the way that was shot and slowed down was fantastic.
Thank god for the sexy and satisfying appearance from Olga Kurylenko as the feisty female companion. Agent 47 is not Olyphant's best role but it's definitely up there as his most brutal. The story is quite familiar with all the double crossing and the assasination attempts which have been used in other films in better ways, but it was still compelling.
I wasn't too keen on the ending as I felt there were loose ends, but all in all Hitman shoots and scores at 70%.
