Review of Hitler's Children (2011) by Melissa K — 11 Nov 2012
It was enlightning and educational, heartwrenching and solid! You can't help but feel overwhelmingly sad for what these people have had to live with! This is a documentary that will make you realize your family is not beyond repair.
I can not imagine what it would feel like to know that yur father, grandfther, or uncle was the cheif commander at Auschwitz and responsible for the deaths of as many as 5 Million people just for being Jewish! Or that your mother and grandmother defend their actions and deny the truth of the holocaust! These are the blameless victims just as much as the survivors of the monstrosoty that was brought on by the Third Reich! I was touched by this film and I do not know if I would have been able to be so brave!
