Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Blæke W — 27 Mar 2013
Hitchcock (2012).
Directed by: Sacha Gervasi.
Release Date: November 23, 2012.
PG-13, 1 hr. 38 min.
Interesting period biopic allowing for for a depth of theoretical voyeuristic characterization by the viewer upon an ever intriguing individual in the movie biz whom was around for a lot of time and wisdom.
An obese and perhaps an obsessive compulsive man but an utterly engrossed one, in his art form as a director. A true loving tale of both a partnership of the mind (domestically) and matter (in work and critique) with a radiant and powerful compassionate Helen Mirren as Alma Reville.
Fantastic film and a must see.
