Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Amjad A — 31 Mar 2013
Okay, not an absolutely perfect portrayal of Hitchcock's life, the film was a tad muddy and messy and the script could've been a tad better, but Hopkins plays Hitchcock with such precision and did an amazing job with his role.
An extremely strong supporting cast and Johansson was the perfect Janet Leigh. The critics were 50/50 but I thoroughly enjoyed it. I believe it was intelligently done and the ending was spectacular. The shooting of the shower scene was also a highlight.
A very good rambunctious film with a few humorous lines thrown in the mix. A testament to the marvellous and late great Hitchcock.
