Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Anna C — 01 Apr 2013
I could talk hours about this movie, but this is not the place. I'll just say that I read Rebello's book, from which this movie is taken, just a couple of months ago, and I really appreciated it.
But I'm a cinema passionate and I already knew a lot about Hitchcock. That's why I liked this movie, but I must say that despite the famous cast the directing is weak, Hopkins' makeup is terrible, you can't even see an expression on his face, and everything is too slow sometimes.
The only light is Helen Mirren, wonderful as always.
