Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Andy B — 11 Apr 2013

As a longtime Hitchcock fan I had some high hopes for this as insight into Psycho and the man himself. I get a little of both but that's just it, a little. Perhaps the movie should have focused on one or the other.

I think the parts about Psycho are done well enough but the personal life stuff seems tacked on. The movie overall isn't bad, it moves along pretty briskly and offers decent information and entertainment, some of it probably true some likely not.

I just feel it could have been a lot more...I think I'd rather read the book its based on.
