Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Nathaniel B — 16 Jun 2013
The film succeeds whenever the audience is in the hands of Anthony Hopkins or Helen Mirren, or even supporters James D'Arcy or Scarlett Johansson, but whenever the narrative strays, it strays wildly, producing a real disappointment of a film which could have and really should have been a thoughtful and respectful look into the life of one of the greatest directors of all time.
