Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Nick E — 06 Oct 2013

This movie was enjoyable. It's been a while since I saw it, and I do not remember many details. However, I do remember that this movie got a lot of slack for not being 100% historically accurate. Did that matter to me? No. I am not a Hitchcock fanatic. I'm sure a fan would have lots of things to say about this film. To me, a relative outsider, this was a good entertainment movie with a decent plot and a fun look behind the scenes of one of Hitchcock's most famous works. Do I care if it's all accurate? No. The acting here is good with two outstanding and consistent leads and a better-than-regular supporting cast. The sets are wonderful and fitting and the movie isn't unnecessarily long or too rushed.

Pros: Entertaining movie about classic Hollywood.

Cons: Not accurate for fans, I'm sure.

Verdict: Go see!
