Review of Hitchcock (2012) by C H — 29 Mar 2013
A must see for sure. Aside from getting a glimpse into the life of one of the most famous directors of all time and learning a bit about the making of Psycho, it is even framed as one of his own "Hitchcock Presents" stories which was very clever indeed.
Anthony Hopkins proves he's still got it by becoming the director in sight, in sound, and in movement. Also a great performance by Helen Mirren as his wife and longtime collaborator Alma Reville. Truly an Oscar worthy film since it kept me entertained and interested in what was going to happen next.
It has inspired me to seek out and view Mr. Hitchcock's films which I've only known about through reputation alone.
