Review of Hitchcock (2012) by Nick M — 31 Mar 2013
Kind of reminded me of "Gods and Monsters." An aging, overweight ogre only has his art (and wit) to lure the young beauties. But unlike James Whale, Hitchcock was at the peak of his form in his old age.
I enjoyed seeing both the self-pity and the monstrous, potential murderer behind the smooth, corpulent exterior. Oh, and Helen Mirren is amazing. But that goes without saying.
