Hitch was not Will Smith's best performance, but it is not the worst. Hitch is meant to be a romcom, but it's not really that funny or romantic. What makes Hitch receive a fresh tomato instead of a rotten one is because of it's strong story plot.
It has twists that make you shout. Hitch might not be a romcom for all you romcom fanatics, but it's definitely a good movie.
