Even if it's very well shot and paced, and the performances all around are solid(especially a live-wire Bradley Cooper), this film really is a complete mess. The writing is all over the place and it tried way too hard to be intelligent and it was painfully self indulgent.
It wanted to be True Romance meets A Generic Romantic Comedy meets Pineapple Express(due to all the unnecessary side characters). But to top it all off it was'nt funny. It's not a terrible rental, but you would'nt die if you saw this.
