Review of History of the World: Part I (1981) by Harrison B — 11 Apr 2008

I guess it's fair to say that this was, overall, a bit of a disappointment. I always expect great things from Mel Brooks' comedy, but this wasn't as captivating as I thought it would be. And the musical part... see, that's just wrong. No need to deal with such an interesting subject like that.

Now, one thing's for sure. There were at least two moments in the movie that were SO good that alone made the whole trip worthwhile.

But common Mel!

I know you're better than that.

You can deliver at least three per movie.
