Review of History of the World: Part I (1981) by Ziv B — 22 Mar 2012

Another film that weaves comedic events and stories set in old times, though a little less decently that it could. Rather underwhelming in its core, the 'History of the World -- Part 1' does contain a good amount of witty moments and jokes that are at least appreciable, if not hilarious.

These moments are quite frequent, and shine nicely in an otherwise dull comedy with bitterly average performances in many aspects, with the exception of set design. This film would be more impressive in its own days, but in modern times, it should merely hope to sustain its audience's attention with some laughs and convincing sceneries.
