If you've seen all the films, you don't NEED to watch it. If you've never seen any of the films, go watch them all right now cause this obviously has spoilers. If a box set of all the uncut films were ever to be released, this would undoubtedly be the bonus disc.
That being said it doesn't stand up well on its own, but its not bad.
