Review of His Name Was Jason: 30 Years of Friday the 13th (2010) by Eric S — 21 Aug 2009
This was an interesting documentary. It's strictly for either horror fans and/or Friday the 13th fans. Nice seeing Tom Savini hosting, but most of his jokes were rather lame and the short scenes in between involving a girl running throughout the place discovering bodies was just plain laughable.
Basically just a ginormous reunion of just about every person that was in the movies. Similar to the documentary that was featured in the Bonus Disc of the "From Crystal Lake to Manhattan" Box Set, only with more elaborations on everything.
Odd thing though, Corey Feldman appeared in that featurette, but is nowhere in sight for this bigger doc. Pretty cool seeing James Rolfe, aka The Angry Video Game Nerd, in there, albeit for only about 10 seconds and mostly containing snippets of his episode where he reviewed the "Friday the 13th" game.
