Review of His Girl Friday (1940) by Tamara S — 24 Dec 2007
A mind-blowingly superb and innovative piece of work starring Cary Grant and Rosalin Russell - and certainly everyone invovled's best ever work.
Howard Hawks is at the top of his game in this excellent media satire: a film that gave birth to the more-than-one-character-talking-at-once movie, that has been rivalled by many movies since - but never equalled.
A true classic, and one of my all-time favourites.
