Kaurismäki must be twisting in his tomb watching this one. I mean if Kaurismäki characters get 1 word in movie these fellows get 12 in 5 seconds. Nothing sort of amazing performances by Gary Grant and Rosalind Russel.
It's not that they are real but that Hawks could take these characters and make them like this - smart - witty - fast thinkers - something ivery far from this ordinary standard Hollywood mumbo jumbo.
