His Girl Friday is one of the greatest comedies I've ever seen and it has definitely lived up to its reputation for being a classic. The chemistry between Cary Grant and Rosalind Russell have superb chemistry together, while the writing itself is stellar and absolutely hilarious.
This film is wildly over-the-top and too much fun to dislike (If you dislike it, you suck). Everything about this film is simply perfect and it is a must-see if you consider yourself to be a fan of comedies, or even a fan of great films as a whole.
It's a classic in every way.
