Review of His Girl Friday (1940) by Wezul S — 23 Apr 2013
Fast-talking. Double-crossing. Truth-bending. All in a day's work in the fast-paced life of journalism that serves as backdrop in this romantic comedy about rekindling old love led by a typecast Cary Grant.
It did seem to have that natural sense of over-lapping conversation made famous later by Robert Altman. Otherwise, a mediocre film.
