It starts of well with a couple of funny lines and Grant again gives a stellar performance as well as Russell, but His Girl Friday is ruined by the journalism story which is never really involving, the story's route is very conventional and the film has too much noise.
There is literally not a single scene where someone doesn't yell or speak 100 words per minute.
