Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Kyle M — 06 Jan 2008
Often called "the most beautiful film ever made." I don't know about all that, but there is something that puts this film above all others in my mind. I feel that a great work of art should tackle, with equal energy, both the personal and the universal.
I've read some great books that have done that, but up until now, have never seen a movie quite like Hiroshima Mon Amour.
