Review of Hiroshima Mon Amour (1959) by Marguerita X — 04 Sep 2010
Very cleverly told story and beatiful film. I can never forgive Resnais for Last year at Marienbad, so I give all the kudos to Marguerita Duras' script, the Japanese crew and both actors. Rewatching it after years, I noticed the similarity with Japanese anime.
Wonder if this film inspired the Japanese, or vice-versa?
