Review of Hillsong: Let Hope Rise (2016) by Shawn B — 18 Sep 2016

I've been a huge fan of UNITED for years, so I was obviously quite excited when this project was announced. The songs that they wrote during the filming process can be found on their latest album, Empries, and have been the soundtrack to my life since their release.

I enjoyed the look beyond what we get to see on stage, and I also very much enjoyed the concert footage. The directors did a great job of simply presenting the band and its history and mission without editorializing.

I was inspired and blessed by this movie, and hope that you are as well.
