Review of Hillbilly Elegy (2020) by Rick444 — 05 Dec 2020
The movie is clearly not that bad as reviewers claim it is. For an 'oscar movie' things that thrown me off was the shaky cam which is like a 'nono' 'no bueno' 'nein nein nein!' For a movie with such ambitions in my humble opinion.
However it's strength is the story behind it about how from such a bad environment all of the members were able to come out of addictions and all that. If not the ending true story credits scene I would rate it lower, maybe a 6 or 5.
