Review of Highwaymen (2004) by Aj C — 19 Feb 2004

[color=black][font=Tahoma]This movie is not what critics say to be. The movie starts of with a high and it struggles to keep it through the last 15 - 20 minutes of the movie. But the note does not fall completely flat. Jim or James does play a solid character with no range but that?s his character leaving him without much to do. But that does not affect the movie in a big way. There is suspense and horror in this film. It kind of reminded me of [i][font=Tahoma]JOY RIDE[/font][/i] but a little creepier. There are some cool car chase scenes with blood that will appeal to any horror movie goers.[/font][/color].

[color=black][font=Tahoma]Though the movie could have been just as good as other car chaser movies the dialogue keeps it back as well as some of the plot points that kind of kept it back. Most people said that the guy was not scary looking and all but not all mass murders are. Though we all wish he was. The fact that they did not report to the police also stood out but hey that there decision. Though in life, some action should have been taken. Come on if a guy talk to you through a CB radio and sends you letters, can't you just call the police and give them, the evidence.[/font][/color].

[color=black][font=Tahoma]Though the engine is shut off a little early during the end, it does not mean that being in neutral can't be fun especially if you are going down hill. This movie has some exciting scenes and can be fun if you let it. All together a [/font][/color].
