Review of Highlander: The Source (2007) by Randall E — 01 Mar 2008
Ok, so this was nowhere near as good as I thought it was going to be, given that Lionsgate did a pretty good job of marketing what "looked" like a sweet movie based on the trailer. It also happens to be directed by a favorite of mine, Brett Leonard (Lawnmower Man, Feed, Man-Thing), AND it is a solo effort from Adrian Paul without having to be reduced to TV show quality or being sided with Christopher Lambert. Sadly, none of these elements helped this movie. It was pretty ridiculous. The villain in this pissed me off too with his moronic wisecracks every now and then. Oh well, it ends with him being the last Highlander so that "should" mean that this old horse has finally been put down.
....(sits back and awaits the remake).
