Review of Highlander II: The Quickening (1991) by Mark V — 03 Dec 2007
This was crazy. It was so crazy, it could've been a drug-induced hallucination or vision MacLeod has at some point after the end of the original film.
This film definitely stands alone as a total 'rev it up to 8000' and skip three gears kind of change in a series. This film went in a total different direction and introduced elements to the Highlander series never seen before or since (like the whole alien origins).
