Review of Highlander: Endgame (2000) by Robert W — 27 Nov 2008
Despite every reasonable thought in my brain telling me not to watch it I did. And it was fun.
It was also the reason for the phrase 'too many flashbacks'. I do wish the main bad guy could have found an accent and stuck with it. It was not helped by the film having the worst match-up of sound and picture that I've ever seen. Really quite dreadful.
But the swordfights were decent, and I got a kick out of seeing both McCleods. And goggling at quite how different they were. Ducan being all heroic and Connor being not. For very good reasons. But I like them both so I'm happy.
Long ramble short, it's a fun flick, nothing more.
