Review of Highlander (1986) by Simon D — 13 Dec 2015
I thought it was about time to see what all the fuss was about with this film. To be honest I think this was so hyped simply because of the soundtrack. I expect that the millions of fans of dadrock out there will probably have this on dvd.
It's not a bad sci-fi / fantasy film, it has some splendid scenery too but the casting is a bit odd - a Frenchman playing a Scot, a Scot playing a Spaniard, and an American playing a Russian baddie.
You don't get that happening very often.
