Review of Highlander (1986) by Joseph S — 04 Jun 2010
I found it very hard to like 'Highlander', especially since they didn't explain the why's of the entire thing, they annoyed me with the terrible audio in which it would whisper for five minutes, and then scream at you in another.
The characters where somewhat corny, and I found some holes in the plot, and basic story line.
Introducing random characters that had potential and then killing them off, I found the story line to be somewhat predictable too.
The script was not too bad, but they could have made a lot more out of the idea that they had, and wasted the opportunity at a descent and original story.
I rate it as high as I do because some moments where genuine and creative, but I can only think of probably three scenes in which they do.
Without a doubt, I dub this movie a failure.
