Review of Highlander (1986) by Mohammed H — 06 Dec 2010
A fantastic piece of the 80's and a highly entertaining sci-fi movie. The premise is very original, Immortal beings clash with each other in sword duels to behead the other. The last remaining Immortal wins the 'Prize'.
With a stylish usage of Queen and a over-the-top villain performance by Clancy Brown as the Kurgan, Highlander is a great piece of entertainment.
PS. Sean Connery is excellent too, even though he doesn't kidnap people and take them on dangerous joyrides like the Kurgan.
