Review of Higher Love (2001) by Frances H — 21 Aug 2011

This movie feels like it thinks itself much more clever than it truly is. A lot of nice ideas and a great cast, but the writing fails it all. I don't know if I have ever before watched a movie that had so many really wonderful scenes, and beautiful music, but left me wondering what was the point of it all.

Someone of talent tried doing something great here, but something didn't gel. Not a bad movie, just not a really good one either.
