There were moments of light humor and the characters were interesting and well-drawn, and one thing that makes this movie work is that her fundamentalist community was not defined in terms of heavy-handed stereotypes.
I found a poignancy in Corrine's desire for a the certainty that her religious community claimed to offer but that she simply could not experience. Nice performance and direction by Vera Farminga.
