Review of High Sierra (1941) by Joshua R — 06 Jan 2009
Great movie that reinvents the crime genre by taking away the rainsoaked asphalt from the movies in the 30s and setting it in the mountains. It sets the stage for the noir of the 40s and 50s. And it launches Bogart's career.
Need any more reasons to see it? Great acting and great story. How's that?
