Review of High Sierra (1941) by Ross M — 23 Jan 2011
Watched this over a year ago. I could have sworn I had already rated this. Well, I will give a brief opinion of it now. Exciting thriller, with a human character in Bogart's Roy Earle. One of the deepest of all of the gangster films of the 1930's and 40's, if not the deepest entirely.
