Review of High Sierra (1941) by Randall A — 28 May 2011
The first half of this film is good but not great where it really shines is in it's second half where the intensity of the situation escalates beautifully eventually ending up at a point that is one of the great scenes in cinema history where Bogart has a stand off with the police in the mountains.
I enjoyed this film but found it to be a little uneven except Bogart's performance which is great throughout as per usaul.
