Review of High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008) by Hector C — 07 Apr 2010
In the third installment of High School Musical, Troy and Gabriella played by the sugary-sweet real life couple Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens, are close to graduating and have to start thinking about their future. Putting rivalry aside, the Wildcats get ready for one final performance, but the question on everyoneâ??s mind is whether they will do it together.
Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with HSM 3. Compared to the other two, which I actually really enjoyed, this was painfully boring. Unlike 1 and 2, I felt that Troy and Gabriellaâ??s chemistry fell flat. Hardly any of the songs were memorable, the choreography was mediocre except for a few scenes that stood out, like Zac and Corbin Bleuâ??s scene in the junkyard and Sharpay and Ryanâ??s performances. Instead of rushing a third movie, I wish more time would have been given to continue showcasing the talents of these young actors and actresses because based on the other two, it really had the potential to end on a high note.
