Review of High School Musical 3: Senior Year (2008) by Ethan D — 22 Sep 2010
Since this movie was so horrible I don't even want to revisit the plot, let me just give you a little play by play.
Three minutes into the movie: Why the heck are they breaking out into song during a basketball game?
Twenty minutes in: I HATE THIS STUPID MOVIE!!!
Forty minutes in: Seriously, they just had a big dance number in the junkyard and are acting like that didn't even happen. I would use the Big Lipped Aligator moment, but if I counted every one of those, we would be here all night.
Sixty-two minutes in:I think I died inside.
Seventy-five minutes in: Oh, a problem in Zac and Vanessa's relationship caused by Ashley Tisdale. That wasn't in the other two movies at all.
Ninety minutes in: You know, I wonder, who actually thought it was a good idea to bring a crappy T.V. movie series to the big screen.
One Hundred Ten minutes in: It's not oveeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrr. It's not ovvvvvvvvvveeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrr. It's not over *sob*.
End of the movie: Activate the sarcasm: Wow, the entire series was a big musical this entire time. What a shocker.
This movie sucks. It may be made for kids, but I think the kids would be the most insulted by it. Avoid this movie please. A big hole in the education system isn't why we have dumb kids, movies like these are why we have dumb kids.
