Weaker story then the first, but still cute. The songs weren't as good as the first film. While HSM1 was Grease for the teens, HSM2 was like Dirty Dancing for teens. I was half expecting Gabriella to jump off the stage and run to Troy in the aisle during the last song, while he lifts her up in the epic Baby/Johnny end scene of Dirty Dancing.
... but was sadly disappointed. Still cute though.
