Review of High-Rise (2015) by Antonio H — 28 May 2016
Thought-provoking until the very end, allegorical with cruel and uncanny charm and driving by no pleasing everyone; High-rise comes as a pure, imperfect, oddity piece of a film with strong performances to go out on a limb.
Even if the narrative in some points goes to much haywire, Hig-rise is a blatant exponent of a society watch from an isolated system perspective invites to question about the human condition and driving forces the mold human psyche within an environment with such extreme and primeval entry settings.
