Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Kelly B — 28 Jan 2008
Clint Eastwood who produced, directed and stars as, The Stranger comes to the town of Lago and whips them into shape to take down three gunslingers who are currently released from jail. Of course there's many secrets lying on the townspeople's chest, that won't stay buried.
Often hailed as one of the best westerns of the 70's, and I'm going to have to agree. A different form of Western which could be described as a Supernatual/Revenge Western, however one might want to describe it.
...it's just plain good.
