Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Jason R — 08 Mar 2008
A frighteningly un-PC movie with no heroes in sight. Everyone in the town is guilty, Eastwood's unnamed character is morally appalling, and there are lines crossed that some will find hard to swallow.
This is all set against the backdrop of amazing acting and beautiful camera work as well as a climactic battle that won't quite let you celebrate. Very high recommendation.
