Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Ryan K — 14 Sep 2008
Dark and brooding with a supernatural bent. A stranger "helps" a town full of guilty cowards and they get more than they bargained for. Doesn't have the 'fun factor' of Eastwood's other work, but the black humor goes well with the darker themes and helps it all go down easier.
One of the most unique westerns out there.
