Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by K S — 19 Jan 2009
The angel of death drifts into a town with a dark past. A town that stood by and did nothing when three men bullwhipped their young, charismatic Marshall to the ground. The three men responsible are out of jail and are making a B line for Lago to pay their old friends a visit.
The stranger (Eastwood) is hired on to help them fend off the three convicts. The ending is enough to make hair stand. Classic Clint.
