Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Kevin M — 03 Nov 2009
Bizarre and brilliant. There was a weird spate of misogynistic Eastwood ego trips in the early 70s, that culminated with this singularly insane Acid Western masterpiece. Look no further, manly men: this will become your new bible. Throw in a midget and you have an excellent exploitation salad. I need to stop writing these things before eating dinner.
Expect a novel-length Low Down essay in the near future.
