Review of High Plains Drifter (1973) by Jason H — 30 Nov 2009
A nicely stylized Eastwood flick, starring the man himself as a mysterious nameless character who turns up to wreak havoc on the townspeople in the face of their fears about 3 outlaws returning. The town turns to him for his skills with a gun, but they don't quite know what they're in for when they barter with this man who seems to know more about them than he's letting on.
A really fun film, Eastwood reveling in the anti-hero role, it's well worth a look.
Recommended.
